Last wreath offered for Robredo at crash site
To coincide with the funeral rites of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo in Naga City on Tuesday, the Philippine Coast Guard, provincial government of Masbate and the Church-led Masbate Advocates for Peace offered flowers at the site in Masbate Pass where the Piper Seneca plane carrying Robredo crashed.
Masbate Governor Rizalina Seachon-Lanete said the provincial government of Masbate would erect a graphite tombstone right at the crash site in honor of Robredo.
The Coast Guard, meanwhile, reported finding the second engine of the ill-fated plane on Tuesday afternoon at about 750 meters from the coast, the governor said. Jonas Cabiles Soltes, Inquirer Southern Luzon
