Robredo parents not told of son’s death

/ 05:44 AM August 29, 2012

DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo

The late secretary Jesse Robredo’s parents—Jose Chan Robredo and Marcelina Manalastas, both in their 80s and bedridden, have yet to be informed about the death of their illustrious son, according to elder and only brother Butch.

Butch said the Robredo siblings had agreed that the medical practitioners among their kin, would be the ones to decide when to break the bad news to their parents.

He said if ever that would happen, only their mother would be told because members of the family could communicate with their father only through touch.
