Cebu City police collar rob suspect
A man with two pending arrest warrants for robbery charges was arrested in barangay Calamba, Cebu City.
Police said Lito Estrada, 40, was allegedly responsible for a string of robberies in Cebu City.
With the arrest of Estrada, robbery cases in Cebu City are expected to drop, said Chief Insp. Bonifacio Garciano, chief of the Investigation and Detective Management Branch of the Cebu City police.
Estrada’s arrest warrants were issued by Trial Court (RTC) Judge Wilfredo Navarro.
The court recommended P100,000 bail for each charge.
Police said Estrada was also a suspect in the killing of a nurse in last year’s barangay election in barangay Guadalupe.
