Philippine police nab German for sexual assault
MANILA, Philippines—A German national was arrested for sexual assault on Tuesday in Cebu City, Philippines, the National Police (PNP) spokesman said Wednesday.
The suspect was identified as Michael Heeren, 32, temporarily residing at Sitio (sub-village) Catadman Guiwanon Poblacion, Dalaguete Cebu, said Police Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr.
The suspect was brought to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, and was turned over to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for appropriate action, Cruz said.
