Sponsor 50 Cebuano kids

World Vision’s City Advocacy Caravan will travel to Cebu from June 11 to 17 to promote child sponsorship and its advocacies outside Metro Manila.

Celebrity sponsor and Bossa sensation Sitti Navarro will join the caravan on Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. towards Tiltilon Elementary School in Liloan town, northern Cebu, where World Vision has been supporting its education and school building initiatives.

The caravan is part of World Vision’s 55th anniversary celebration with the theme “Sharing the joy of hope.”

As school year opens, we are aiming to find more support for the 50 poor children and their families and communities, World Vision said in its press statement.

“World Vision aspires for every child to enjoy good health, to be educated for life, to experience love of God and neighbor, to be cared for, protected and participating,” it added.

The 50 children were identified during World Vision’s area development program around Cebu province.

A team of fundraisers will encourage individuals to sponsor a child and be part of the ministry.

World Vision will also hold an exhibit from June 12-17 at Ayala Center Cebu and June 15-17 at SM City Trade Hall to encourage visitors to sponsor a child.
