RAFI announces Gabii sa Kabilin blogging contest winners

THE Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) announced the winners of the first Gabii sa Kabilin blogging contest last June 8.

The first prize was awarded to Stanley Cabigas’ blog entry “How I discovered Pilita Corrales in Cebu,” which can be found in www.langyaw.com.

Maria Rowena Getutua placed second for her entry “Are you Cebuano Enough?” at www.mawen-thoughtscraps.blogspot.com. Getutua featured the museums that she visited during the heritage tour.

Vernon Joseph Go’s “Proud Past: Land of kings & heroes” settled for third place. Go’s website is www.vernongo.com. Go delved into the link between pride of heritage and nation building.

The first to third prize winners received P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000. The winners will also be given a certificate and a one-year web hosting by Earl Pablo, one of the judges and a web hosting provider.
