“World Vision aspires for every child to enjoy good health, to be educated for life, to experience love of God and neighbor, to be cared for, protected and participating,” it added.

The 50 children were identified during World Vision’s area development program around Cebu province.

A team of fundraisers will encourage individuals to sponsor a child and be part of the ministry.

World Vision will also hold an exhibit from June 12-17 at Ayala Center Cebu and June 15-17 at SM City Trade Hall to encourage visitors to sponsor a child.

World Vision is a child-focused, relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities worldwide to overcome poverty and injustice.

Established in 1957, the organization aims to inspire more Filipinos to share hope and reach out to the poor.
