NBA 3-ON-3 Philippines starts today

THE NBA 3-ON-3 Philippines presented by Sprite will open today with a lot of high-energy performances from the New York Knicks City Dance Team, headed by a Filipina in Michelle Harris.

The New York Knicks City Dance Team are the same dancers that help energize the New York Knicks and their presence in the event help spice it up along with the presence of four-time NBA champion and All Star Horace Grant. Grant played alongside Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers, respectively.

Harris, KCD director of entertainment, hails from Balayan, Batangas. Her mother’s surname is Dino and her father’s family name is Marella.

Now a Chicago, Illinois native, Harris is also the director of entertainment of the New York Liberty and oversees the dance teams’ overall entertainment.

Grant and the New York Knicks Dancers will make appearances and interact with fans through clinics and community events.  Correspondent Jonas Panerio
