LUCENA CITY — A 35-year-old Bangladeshi national was shot dead Monday by riding-in-tandem gunmen in San Pascual town in Batangas province.

In a report on Tuesday, May 14, the Region 4A police said Nowyed Azim, a resident of Lipa City, was aboard his e-bike when two men onboard a motorcycle, without any provocation, repeatedly shot him around 6 p.m. in Barangay San Antonio.

The gunmen sped off after the shooting. The victim was taken to San Antonio Lifecare Hospital in the locality but expired during treatment.

Police described the gunmen as wearing crash helmets and jackets and riding a green Sniper 150 motorcycle.
