MANILA, Philippines —  Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao were ranked among Asia’s best islands in the 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards of world lifestyle media Conde Nast.

Conde Nast released the results on Tuesday.

Boracay ranked third among ten on the list with a score of 90.74, while Palawan and Siargao placed sixth and tenth, with scores of 89.71 and 87.37, respectively.

Meanwhile, Bali in Indonesia took first place with a 91.08 score, and Koh Samui, Thailand ranked second at 91.07.

In a statement, Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco said that this was the result of a collective effort of local communities, national and local government agencies, and stakeholders.

“This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and sustainable tourism efforts of our country, from our local communities, national and local government agencies, and stakeholders who have strived tirelessly to preserve and enhance the beauty of these islands,” Frasco said on Friday.
