6 ‘high-value’ suspects yield P1.5M meth in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — Cavite police on Wednesday and Thursday seized more than P1.5 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from six “high-value” drug suspects in Dasmariñas City, Cavite province.
In a report Friday, Colonel Christopher Olazo, Cavite police chief, said members of the city drug enforcement unit collared Manuel Zamora, 60, and an 18-year-old suspect during a buy-bust operation Thursday.
The two were caught in alleged possession of 25 grams of shabu with
an estimated street value of P172,500.
On Wednesday, local drug enforcers busted Arjay Cariño, 28; Dandan Mindavia, 22; Sharmaine Muñoz, 27; and a minor during another sting operation.
Cariño and Rachelle allegedly yielded a plastic bag and two sachets of meth weighing 99.50 grams worth P686,550.

The report said all the suspects were on the police drug watch list as high-value individuals.
They were detained and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Rachelle, being a minor, was turned over to the local social workers for proper disposition. INQ
