P742,000 shabu seized from 4 drug suspects in Cavite, Laguna

Two alleged big-time drug traffickers were arrested on Saturday night, November 12, and yielded over P251-million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Imus City in Cavite province.

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested four alleged drug pushers and seized more than P742,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Bacoor City, Cavite, and Calamba City, Laguna.

The Region 4A police reported Wednesday that its drug enforcers and Bacoor City cops collared at 2:50 p.m. Jaimeelen Manuel in Barangay Niog 1.

Manule, a newly identified drug pusher, was caught with 100 grams of shabu worth about P680,000.

The police are investigating further to determine the source of the illegal drugs.

In Calamba City, operatives busted at 7:14 p.m. Drucela Jojuico and Rayel Madera in Barangay Lecheria.

The two yielded P35,360 worth of shabu as per DDB valuation.

In another operation, the police collared at 9:09 p.m. Meann Sayritan in Barangay Parian and seized meth worth P27,200 from them.

The suspects are detained at the local police jails and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
