8 hurt as car falls into ravine in Tabuk City

QUEZON, Isabela—A pickup truck fell Wednesday into a ravine in Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga province, injuring eight people.

Major Garry Gayamos, Kalinga police spokesperson, said some victims were barangay healthcare workers from San Francisco village in Rizal town, also in Kalinga.

The victims were on their way home after holding team-building activities at a resort when a rock fell from a roadside hill, forcing the driver to swerve to the other side, which led to the car plunging into the ravine.
