5 suspects yield P90K worth of ‘shabu’ in Occidental Mindoro

CITY OF CALAPAN — Police on Thursday (June 16) arrested five drug suspects in a buy-bust operation with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Mamburao town, Occidental Mindoro province, according to a report from Mimaropa regional police.

Police said Dexter Servando, 39, Lorbert Custodio, 45, Jayson Villaberse, 40, Hernan Vales, 37, and Christes Maesse Solis, 32, were arrested at 1:35 p.m. after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P2,000 to a police poseur-buyer in Barangay (village) Balansay.

Also seized from the suspects were two more sachets of shabu worth P90,000.

The suspects, all residents of Barangay Balansay, are under police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
