7 NCR LGUs have no new COVID-19 cases — Octa Research
MANILA, Philippines — Seven local government units in the National Capital Region (NCR) have not recorded a new COVID-19 case, independent analytics group Octa Research said Tuesday.
In a post on social media site Twitter, Octa Research fellow Guido David said that the local governments of Malabon, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Navotas, San Juan, Valenzuela, and Pateros did not record a new case.

The following is the breakdown of the 63 fresh infections in Metro Manila:
Quezon City – 15 new cases

Caloocan – 5 new cases
Pasig – 5 new cases
Pasay – 4 new cases
Taguig – 4 new cases
Las Piñas – 3 new cases

The fresh COVID-19 infections in Metro Manila are included in the 160 new cases registered nationwide on Monday, May 16.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines is now at 3,688,292, while active infections stood at 2,688.
Three new fatalities and 377 more recovered patients brought the total deaths and recoveries to 60,458 and 3,625,146, respectively.
David said that the country’s COVID-19 positivity rate is 1.1 percent, well within the World Health Organization’s recommended rate of less than five percent.
