Comelec tallies 149 out of 173 COCs for official senatorial, party-list count
MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has so far canvassed 149 certificates of canvass (COCs) of votes cast for the senatorial and party-list races.
Comelec is sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC). As the NBOC, the poll body is canvassing votes for the senatorial and party-list polls.
The presidential and vice-presidential votes, meanwhile, will be canvassed by Congress when it resumes session on May 23.
After Saturday’s session, the Comelec has so far canvassed 149 out of 173 COCs.
This means only 24 COCs remain to be canvassed. The NBOC suspended its session on Saturday and will resume canvassing at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.

Comelec’s fourth canvass report is expected to be released on Sunday.
