SANTA MAGDALENA, Sorsogon — Police seized suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P300,000 from a drug dealer in a buy-bust operation in Sorsogon City on Monday, Nov. 25.

The Sorsogon City Police reported that the 49-year-old suspect identified as alias “Intat” was arrested after he sold five grams of shabu worth P8,000 to a police officer acting as a poseur buyer.

The drug dealer, who was a resident of the nearby town of Casiguran, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. in Barangay (village) Salvacion.

Fifty-five grams of suspected shabu placed in two heat-seat plastic containers worth P374,000 were confiscated from the suspect.

Now under the custody of Sorsogon City police, the suspect will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
