Physical election returns received by PPCRV now at 21.73%
MANILA, Philippines — The poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has so far received 23,420 physical election returns — or 21.73% of the total returns — as of Wednesday night, according to spokesperson Van de la Cruz in a text message to INQUIRER.net.
As of 7:00 p.m., the PPCRV had already received 12,595 election returns from Luzon — 9,831 of which were from Metro Manila — and another 994 from Mindanao.
These election results will be used to verify if they match with the electronic results from the transparency server of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
De la Cruz said that the first run of validation will start tomorrow, Thursday.
The PPCRV is set to operate until May 20 at the PPCRV command center at the University of Santo Tomas’ Quadricentennial Pavilion.
