MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso couldn’t help but react to the recent tension between supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“Panahon na, mga kababayan, tuldukan na natin ang away nila sa Mayo 9. Iba naman! Walang awayan, walang higantihan. Kapakinabangan naman ng tao ang mauuna,” he further said.

(It’s now time, my kababayans, to put a stop to their fight come May 9. Give chance to others! No conflict, no retaliation. The people’s well-being should come first.)

He even warned that a coup d’état will be likely should either of the “red” or “yellow” candidates win in the May 9 polls.
