565 suspects nabbed, P3M illegal drugs seized in weeklong anti-crime operations in Central Luzon

OLONGAPO CITY––Police arrested 565 people and seized more than P3 million worth of illegal drugs during the weeklong anti-crime operations between Feb. 28 and March 6 in the region, authorities said Monday.
In a statement, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said 162 of those arrested had outstanding arrest warrants, and 60 were most wanted for murder, frustrated murder, rape, and the like.

The PRO3 also said they arrested 125 people for illegal gambling, 187 for illegal drugs, and 31 for other violations.
At least 523 sachets containing alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P2.8 million and marijuana worth P359,764 were confiscated from drug suspects.
