ORMOC CITY — One of the most wanted persons in this city was killed in an alleged shootout around 6 p.m. Thursday with police, who were about to serve an arrest warrant at Purok Adelfa, Barangay Bilwang, Isabel town, Leyte.

Major Edgar De Asis, chief of the Isabel Police Station, identified the suspect as Jimmy Delalamon, 61.

The police were supposed to serve an arrest warrant issued by Judge Mario Quinit of the Regional Trial Court Branch 12 in Ormoc City against De Asis when he allegedly drew his cal. 45 pistol and fired at them.

This prompted the police to fire back, hitting the suspect in different parts of his body.
