Duterte declares special non-working days in Bago, Talisay cities in Negros Occidental
BACOLOD CITY — President Duterte has declared special non-working days in the cities of Bago and Talisay in Negros Occidental to mark their charter anniversaries.
“It is fitting and proper that the people of Bago and Talisay be given the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in their charter days,” said Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea in two separate proclamations he signed by the authority of the president.
Proclamation 1293 declares Feb. 19 a special non-working holiday in Bago to mark its 56th Charter Anniversary.
Proclamation 1298 declares Feb. 11 a special non-working holiday in Talisay to mark its 24th Charter Anniversary.
Medialdea stressed the need for public health measures of the national government to be observed during both occasions.
