Archbishop emeritus gets booster shot via drive-thru site in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Archdiocese of San Fernando Archbishop Emeritus Paciano Aniceto is among the eligible individuals who got booster shots Tuesday against COVID-19 via the drive-thru vaccination site in the capital city.
On the second day of the national vaccination rollout, the provincial government opened a drive-thru booster shot site for medical frontliners, the elderly, and persons with comorbidities who had their final dose of COVID-19 vaccines at least six months ago.
In a short video clip posted on the provincial government’s Facebook page, Aniceto thanked Gov. Dennis Pineda for the drive-thru vaccination site that, he said, is convenient for an elderly like him.
The drive-thru vaccination site is at the parking area of Robinsons Starmills Mall, where the provincial government aims to administer booster shots to up to 1,000 individuals.
“Only (medical) frontliners senior citizens and those with comorbidities are qualified to avail the drive-thru vaccination,” it said in a statement.
