MANILA, Philippines — A group of petitioners is set to file on Thursday another disqualification case against the presidential bid of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

An advisory from the Akbayan Party-list stated that the disqualification case to be filed before the Commission on Elections will assert that Marcos is “perpetually barred from seeking public office as a result of his 1995 tax evasion conviction.”
