Tarlac City logs 6 COVID-19 deaths
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Four elderly and two other residents have succumbed to COVID-19 in Tarlac City, the latest data from the city and provincial governments showed on Tuesday.
In their separate bulletins, the capital city and provincial governments of Tarlac said the fatalities were between 30 and 82 years old from Maliwalo, Balingcanaway, Central, San Manuel, and San Vicente villages.
The city also recorded six new COVID-19 patients and seven recoveries on Tuesday. Its active cases stood at 39.
The city government lifted the mandatory wearing of face shields but encouraged residents to continue wearing face masks and observe physical distancing in public places.
Tarlac City has registered 6,746 since the pandemic broke out last year. Of these, 6,427 have recovered, and 280 have died.
