PH receives additional 1.28 million Moderna vaccine doses
MANILA, Philippines — The country has received an additional supply of around 1.28 million Moderna COVID-19 vaccine doses, which arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Saturday morning, according to state media.

On its official Facebook page, PTV said the fresh jabs, which were procured by the government, arrived at around 10 a.m. The vaccine doses arrived aboard China Airlines flight C1701.
Data from the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 showed that over 1.24 million vaccine doses have been administered in the Philippines, as of Nov. 11.
The task force is confident that it will reach its target of administering a total of 1.5 million jabs soon, according to PTV.
The NTF against COVID-19 has earlier announced that the government’s inoculation drive will now shift to using Western-made vaccines such as Moderna and Pfizer.
