LIST: Cinemas open starting Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines — After being shuttered for more than a year due to the new coronavirus restrictions, several cinema houses in the country reopened their doors to moviegoers this Wednesday.
The Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) said the movie houses will only accept fully vaccinated individuals inside the cinemas, who need to present proof of their vaccination.

The Interagency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases allowed a maximum of 30 percent indoor capacity for in-door cinema and movie houses when Metro Manila was placed Under Alert Level 3.

Under the updated guidelines on the pilot implementation of the government’s new COVID-19 alert level system, only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed in indoor cinemas, and 50% outdoor venue capacity.
Movie goers should e seated one-seat apart, while wearing their face masks at all times, except when drinking.
Food will not be allowed inside the cinema, except for drinks.
The National Capital Region is now under Alert Level 2 until November 21.
