Fair weather for PH this weekend but Pagasa monitoring storm outside PAR
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will experience fair weather throughout the weekend save for isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms, state meteorologists said on Friday afternoon.
Satellite forecast images from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) showed clear skies over most of the archipelago, as easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean prevail.
However, Pagasa is still monitoring Tropical Storm Mindulle, which still hovers outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), at a distance of 2,005 kilometers east of Southern Luzon.
Pagasa says there is a high possibility that the storm enters PAR in the coming days, particularly between Sunday and Monday.
But for Saturday, weather would still be warm especially in Luzon, with temperatures in Metro Manila ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius, Tuguegarao with 25 to 34 degrees, Laoag with 25 to 33 degrees, Legazpi with 25 to 33 degrees, Tagaytay with 22 to 31 degrees, and Puerto Princesa with 24 to 31 degrees.

No gale warning has been raised as of now which means small boats and fisherfolk can freely roam the country’s waters.
