Man nabbed in Calapan City buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN — A man was arrested by police and personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Tuesday in a buy-bust operation in this city, according to a report from Oriental Mindoro police.
Ronie Morales was arrested at 3:23 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer for P1,000 in Barangay (village) Gutad.

Confiscated from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 1.22 grams and valued at P8,296.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
