Velasco to give Bacolod District Hospital more funding
BACOLOD CITY — Speaker Lord Allan Velasco has committed to provide more funds for the construction of the Bacolod District Hospital, according to Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya.
Gasataya said he presented the conceptual design of the hospital to Velasco during his visit to Negros Occidental on Friday.
“It is a big blessing that Velasco has committed to help,” he said.
Velasco and several other members of Congress were in Negros Occidental for the baptism of the twins of former Rep. Mercedes Alvarez and her husband, Dranreb Lansang.
Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri earlier said he has allocated an additional P200 million for the Bacolod City General Hospital.
