P5,000 in meth seized from arrested drug suspect in Puerto Princesa
CITY OF CALAPAN—A suspected drug pusher was arrested on Tuesday (Aug. 24) in a buy-bust operation in Puerto Princesa City, according to the regional police office.
In a report, the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (Mimaropa) police said Israel Benetis, 28, was arrested after selling two packets of shabu, or crystal meth, worth P5,000 to undercover agents at the village of Bacungan in Puerto Princesa.
Police said a certain Marco was with Benetis but he escaped and evaded arrest.
