Aklan records 2 to 3 COVID-19 deaths daily in last 3 months — governor
MANILA, Philippines —Two to three deaths daily due to COVID-19 were recorded in Aklan province over the past three months, Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores said Wednesday.
In a televised briefing, Miraflores said 147 of the province’s 184 total deaths since the pandemic started were recorded from May to July this year.
“Sa ngayon, 184 deaths ang Aklan. That is for the whole COVID pandemic from March last year up to the present. But kung titignan mo yung mga data ang aming COVID deaths from March last year up to April this year, 47 deaths lang,” Miraflores said.
