COVID-19 infects 5 more PNP personnel in Central Luzon

OLONGAPO CITY—Five more police personnel in Central Luzon contracted COVID-19, health data showed on Thursday, July 8.

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) health service said the latest cases raised the active infections among its workforce to 38.

The PRO3 has registered 1,800 COVID-19 cases since last year. At least 1, 757 of these police personnel in the region had recovered. Seven of them were the latest to be given a clean bill of health.

The COVID-19-related death toll of PRO3 remained at five.
