“Their arrival in the Philippines will help us fine-tune our vaccination roll-out,” Galvez said in a statement. “We want to learn from the best practices being implemented in Israel and hopefully, replicate and use them in crafting our country’s policies.”

Galvez said among the topics to be discussed during the consultation meeting are efficient vaccine roll-out, safe handling of vaccines, and improving public uptake.

The Israeli delegation, who will stay in the country until June 25, will meet with some of the country’s top medical experts, as well as visit some of the country’s vaccination sites.

Israel has the most number of fully vaccinated individuals, with 59 percent of its citizens having received two doses of vaccines as of Saturday, according to the official data collated by Our World in Data.
