COVID-19 rollout resumes in Olongapo City; 600 more get jabs
OLONGAPO CITY––The city government continued vaccinating Wednesday against COVID-19 after receiving a new supply from the national government.
About 600 doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca were expected to be administered during the first of two days of rollout at the SMX Convention Center in SM Central Olongapo.
The vaccines are for older citizens and residents with comorbidities.
At least 290 doses of the vaccine are for priority residents receiving the first dose of Sinovac. The remaining supply is for residents receiving the second shots of Sinovac and AstraZeneca.
The vaccination rollout was stopped due to the limited supply of vaccines.
