It’s a tie in Olongapo’s COVID-19 tally: 17 recoveries, 17 new cases in a day
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—The COVID-19 tallies are a tie in Olongapo City.
The city recorded 17 recoveries and 17 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (April 28), according to city health data.
They said the number of recoveries had risen to 1,229.
This gave the city an 84.8-percent recovery rate in 1,448 cases recorded since 2020.
In an advisory, Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the city also did not register any COVID-19 deaths in the last three days.
But he said the city also logged 17 new infections on Wednesday and most were at homes or in workplaces.

So far, Olongapo has also recorded 63 deaths since the pandemic began.
