MANILA, Philippines —  A low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Mindanao and outside the Philippine area of responsibility, although warm weather will still prevail, the state weather bureau said Sunday morning.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the LPA was last spotted 2,095 kilometers east of Mindanao.

Hindi naman ito nakakaapekto sa ngayon sa anumang bahagi ng bansa,” he said in a weather forecast issued by Pagasa on early Sunday morning.

Mendoza added that warm weather due to the easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean can be expected.
