Moderate to heavy rains expected over Bicol Region, E. Visayas due to LPA

In its 5 a.m. live weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA was last spotted at 75 kilometers east southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
“‘Yan po ang magdadala ng moderate to heavy ng mga pag-ulan dyan sa may Bicol Region at Eastern Visayas,” weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said in describing the LPA.
(This LPA will bring moderate to heavy rains over the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.)
“Itong LPA naman po ay mababa yung tsansa na mag-develop into a tropical depression (This LPA has no chances of developing into a tropical depression.),” Bulquerin added.

Because of the amihan, cloudy skies with rains are expected over the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.
The amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, Bulquerin said.
As for Metro Manila and the rest of the country, these areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms, the weather specialist said.
