3 killed in alleged robbery-homicide in Lapu-Lapu city
MANILA, Philippines — Three people were killed in an alleged robbery-homicide in Lapu-lapu city Thursday, reports reaching Camp Crame said Friday.
The report said the incident happened inside the victims’ house in Sitio (sub-village) Takan, Babag village Lapu-lapu city at around 6 a.m. when four men, two of them armed, entered the house of couple Fernando Canillo and Emma Baronges; their son, Fernando Canillo III and Ricric Baronges, an uncle; and a daughter who was not identified.
The report said the daughter of the victims hid and witnessed the incident.
The report said the daughter called one of the suspects as “Uncle Kambal”.
She told police that after the suspects entered their house, they forcibly grouped the victims, questioned her father, and shot them one by one.
Only Ricric Baronges survived but with a gunshot wound on his neck, the report said.
