Bataan town hall exec gunned down
MARIVELES, Bataan –– The head of the management information system (MIS) of the municipal government was gunned down in front of his house on Thursday night, police said.
The death of Jonathan de la Cruz, 35, was later announced by Mariveles Mayor Jocelyn Castaneda on her Facebook page.
She appealed to residents to help in seeking justice for Dela Cruz, whom she described as “one of the trusted department heads.”

Police have yet to establish the motive behind the killing.
