Quezon records 2 new COVID-19 cases, 2 recoveries, 1 death
LUCENA CITY – Two new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, two recoveries, and the death of one suspected virus carrier, were recorded in Quezon province on Saturday.
The two new COVID-19 patients are from the towns of Lopez and Atimonan, the Quezon public information office (QPIO) said in its 8 a.m. bulletin on Facebook.
One of the two latest recovered patients is also from Atimonan while the other one is from Lucena City.
The QPIO also reported the death of another suspected virus carrier.
No added details were given by the QPIO in its report.
The death toll among those suspected of coronavirus infection but have yet to get confirmation has risen to 67 from April 14 to date.

The province has 39 remaining active virus carriers.
