990AM: 3 hurt in Pasig City demolition

MANILA, Philippines – Three people were hurt as informal settlers tried to fight off a demolition team in Pasig City Monday, a Radyo Inquirer report said.

The report stated that violence erupted at the Sta. Lucia Floodway in Pasig City Monday when a demolition team tried to relocate residents in the area.

The demolition team had to use a water canon on angry residents who resisted their efforts, the report said.
