Camarines Sur couple nabbed for drug pushing

LEGAZPI CITY –– An alleged high-value target drug pusher and his wife were arrested on Thursday morning with P1.02 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) during a drug sting in Pasacao town in Camarines Sur province.

Darwin Abestro, 43, and his wife Antoner, 35, were arrested at 2:05 a.m. at their residence in Barangay Sta. Rosa Del Sur
said, Police Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.

The couple and another suspect identified as Aljun Gobanco, 39, were selling P50,000 worth of shabu to undercover police operatives.

Gobanco, however, managed to escape.

Police operatives recovered at the suspects’ house six plastic sachets weighing 25 grams of shabu, a .38 caliber gun and ammunition, bullet for 5.56 rifle, a weighing scale, and drug paraphernalia.
