Makati gov’t to hold ‘Bike Parade’ to celebrate National Bicycle Day

MANILA, Philippines — The Makati City government will hold a “Bike Parade” on November 24 in celebration of National Bicycle Day.

In an advisory, the Makati City government said the 20-kilometer bike parade, which is open to public, will begin at 5 a.m., with the route starting at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.

Participants will traverse the cities of San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasay, and Manila.

“Makati City is fully supporting the proposal of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and National Bicycle Organization to declare every 4th Sunday of November as official National Bicycle Day observance,” the city government said.
