MANILA, Philippines — Government agents have intercepted an alleged Italian pedophile at the Davao International Airport, authorities said Tuesday.

Bureau of Immigration (BI) Acting Intelligence Chief Fortunato Manahan Jr., in a report to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, said 57-year-old Lorenzo Marchesi was arrested last November 8.

Marchesi was about to board a flight to leave the country when immigration authorities nabbed him, Manahan said.
