Drug suspect slain in Zambales buy-bust

CABANGAN, Zambales – Police here killed a suspected drug pusher during a buy-bust operation on Sunday.

Investigators said Christian Abenoja, a resident of nearby San Antonio town, resisted arrest and fired at a police undercover agent who managed to buy a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) from the suspect.

Abenoja died on the spot while his companion eluded arrest and fled on board a motorcycle.

Recovered from the slain suspect were a .38-caliber revolver and a sachet containing suspected shabu.
