MANILA, Philippines — A truck figured in an accident that made it spill its crates of chicks on North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) causing heavy traffic on the northbound side near Bocaue bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Pilar Patrice Manuel posted photos of the truck on Twitter, where her handle is @particecinnamon.

“A truck containing crates of chicks met an accident northbound NLEX near the Bocaue tollgate earlier this afternoon,” read the caption. “Vehicular traffic is temporarily stopped while civilians and expressway patrol officers try to save as many chicks as they could.”
