MANILA, Philippines — Former Makati Mayor Junjun Binay has asked the Sandiganbayan’s Third Division to let him leave for the United States from June 6 to 27 to visit family members.

Binay said he was ready to fully comply with the court’s requirements for him to travel.

Binay faces charges of graft and falsification of public documents over his alleged involvement in the supposedly anomalous procurement process for the P2.2-billion Makati City Hall parking building.
