4 drug suspects slain in Nueva Ecija
CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines -Four drug suspects were killed in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Nueva Ecija on Wednesday, police said.
Senior Supt. Leon Victor Rosete, Nueva Ecija provincial police director, identified the fatalities as Felipe Malubay, Elemer Viazon, Dennis Serrano and Mario Reyes.
Rosete said the four resisted arrest and opened fire at policemen.
Recovered from the slain suspects were several sachets of shabu (crystal meth) and two firearms. / gsg
