2 robbery suspects collared in Muntinlupa City
MANILA, Philippines – Two robbery hold-up suspects were arrested last Sunday in Muntinlupa City after carting off P35,000 cash and a motorcycle.
Police identified the suspects as Wilfredo Jalla, 35 and Rommel Sy, 21.
A third suspect, Renato Sy, 33, remain at large.
Initial investigation showed that the victim, 36-year-old Vinod Jeerh, had just alighted from his motorcycle at Del Rosario Compound in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City when the motorcycle-riding suspects blocked his path and declared a heist.
One of the suspects took the victim’s money, which he had collected from his debtor, along with his motorcycle.
During a follow-up operation, the Muntinlupa Police was able to arrest Jalla and Sy who were on board two separate motorcycles, one of which is owned by the victim.

The arrested suspects are currently detained at the Muntinlupa City Police Station after they were brought to Ospital ng Muntinlupa for physical examination.
They will be charged with violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, RA No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and violation of the Omnibus Election Code. / gsg
